MCP in Plain Language

MCP in Plain Language

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a USB port for agents. Instead of hard-coding one API per app, you plug in servers that expose tools (files, databases, browsers, tickets) with the same call shape.

You do not need to implement a server today. You need to explain it so a non-engineer teammate could choose whether to connect one.

Learning outcomes

  • Explain MCP as a standard socket, not a model
  • List three example servers in human language
  • Name one trust question before connecting a server

Instructions

1

Add an <h1> that mentions MCP

Indice : Spell out Model Context Protocol in the body even if the title is short.

2

Add <ul class="servers"> with at least three <li> examples

3

Add <section class="trust"> with one question to ask before connecting a server
